Metanoia have been in the studio and the first of our Christmas releases is out now for streaming! It is a cover of a Resound Worship song by Judy Gresham that we’ve been playing at Rock Mass for a few years.
We hope to put together a lyric video for this in the coming days. We also hope to releasing a Christmas Carol in a couple of weeks time.
Those who know me well often say that I try to do too many things and there are only so many hours in the day. At the beginning of the year I made a vlog about how I was going to prioritise things in the coming years. Our band Metanoia have been in the recording studio making music which we hope to release in the runup to Christmas. Mike came over to record keys this week and we are all having a lot of fun in the creative process. Now we are on the final straight I need to ensure I don’t lose focus and get sucked into the usual cycle of procrastination!
In the last year, Ruth and I have been providing music for Holy Nativity’s online services but there has been little in the way of “live” music. For last night’s Benediction at On Fire, we were able to do something together as Metanoia for a couple of songs. The rest are me and Ruth playing together. Check it out and see what you think.
